Welcome to Our Wedding Weekend

Actually, the weekend is yours...

Although it may look like a full schedule - moving from one meal to the next with only a brief interruption for a wedding ceremony Saturday afternoon - there will actually be plenty of personal, unscheduled time, and a variety of ways to spend it. Here are some suggestions:

Explore the area - there are a number of short trails that depart from right behind the cabins
Get out on (or in) the water - use of canoes, kayaks, SUP boards, and sailboats are included in the stay
Play - tennis, ping pong, shuffleboard, horseshoes, and more
Read a book - there are plenty of quiet places for getting back into it

Take a nap - because you know you need it

If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding...

What to wear

"Rustic elegance"?..."Evening garden party"?... "A Great Gatsby canoe trip"?... "You do you?"

Whatever you want to call it, just dress for a party at a northern Ontario rustic resort. Casual most of the weekend, but feel free to dress it up for Saturday 4p onwards.

Expect daytime weather to be late summer warm, with temps around 18 - 24 C (65 - 75 F)
Cool evenings likely, with lows around 10 C / 49 F
Rain and thunderstorms possible
Under foot will be docks, rocks, grass, and unpaved paths

What to bring

We have it mostly covered.  But you may want to consider...

Shoes and sandals
Alcohol, for the other times
Refillable water bottles
